Most of the restaurants placed in the heart of the city centre will be much more expensive than the others.

Sometimes it is worth going a little bit off the main path to find something where local people eat and that is a bit cheaper. For example, a perfect place to try Polish cuisine is Swojski Smak.

You can choose from many traditional dishes and sample numerous kinds of Polish flavored vodkas. You can’t leave Poland without tasting at least one kind of pierogi (dumplings). The number one place to try them is restaurant Mandu. Remember that most of the restaurants close around 10 or 11pm and if you come in high season it is strongly advised to make yourself a reservation.
