Wahkhen, Meghalaya

Wahkhen village under Pynursla Sub- Division is 48 km from Shillong. It is famous for its Mawryngkhang trek which involves walking on bamboo bridges. Besides this a school that teaches how to play khasi musical instruments has received recognition.
