Day1 :
Start from Trivandrum early in the morning and reach Alappuzha beach aka Alleppey beach. The site of the 19th-century Alappuzha Lighthouse is Allapuzha aka Alleppey beach
Head to the Alleppey backwaters : Aka Vembanad lake.
The Alappuzha backwaters are the most popular tourist attraction in Kerala. It connects Kumarakom and Cochin to the North and Quilon to the South.
Kerala houseboats are huge, slow-moving barges used.They are a reworked model of Kettuvallams (in the Malayalam language, Kettu means "tied with ropes", and vallam means "boat"), which, in earlier times, were used to carry rice and spices from Kuttanad to the Kochi port.
Spend a night over the houseboat , enjoy music and good homecooked food.
Day2 : You can try hands on and be the captain of the boat for a while in the Vembanad lake.
The Vembanad is the longest lake in India, and the largest lake in the state of Kerala. Vembanad lake is also known as Vembanadu Lake in Kottayam, Punnamada Lake in Kuttanad and Kochi Lake in Kochi.
Start your journey back to Trivandrum.
