Pune is blassed with glorifying history of Maratha's, topclass univercities and plesent weather. City has adopted modernization maintaining the history and keeping the Puneri attitude intact. Though Pune has thousands of famious places some of historic gems are still untouches and underrated.

Start your day with having breakfast at yazdan cafe at sharbatwala chowk near M.G Chowk. It had started in 1962 and is one of the very first cafe's in Pune. Its famious for their Irani chai, banmaska and scrambled eggs. But they serves many other dishes as well. Its historic,has Irani vibe and pocketfriendly.
After breakfast you can headover to Mahadji Shinde Chhatri which is situated in Wanowrie. It is a memorial for Maratha Sardar Mahadji Shinde and was built in 1974. though it isn't too old, its architecture makes us remember the huge placeses of Rajsthan. Even in hot sunny day its so cool and calm inside. Less tourist and less crowd makes it perfeclty peaceful.
It a war memorial located in Dobarwadi Pune. It's dedicated to post-independence war martyrs. It has been estableshed by citizen's contribution. Beauticul sculpture, statues, different models of tanks and aeroplanes makes it unique and attractive. Its open from 9.00am to 6.00pm and has no entry fees for Indians.
Do not try the road side masal soda's on the way to war memorial.
St. Mary's Church is one of the most prominent Anglican churches in Pune. It was used by British soldiers and their families before independence. At a distance of 3.5 km from Pune Junction, St. Mary's Church is an ancient church situated in Cantonment Camp of Pune. It has been established in 1820's. They decorated it beautifully during Christmas. Its holy spiritual vibe is soul-soothing.
Dorabjee and Sons is Pune's oldest Parsi Restaurant. Established in the year of 1878 by Sorabjee Dorabjee. Its not a lavish restorent but no dought they have yummiest food in Pune. Flavourful mutton biryani and mutton kabab gravy makes the perfect meal. They also searve some traditional irani cold drink, in case you are thirsty. They have displayed yearly menu cards since the starting year with rates as low as 4 aana, which I found truly intresting.
The Aga Khan Palace was built by Sultan Muhammed Shah Aga Khan III in Pune, India. Aga Khan Palace served as the prison for Mahatma Gandhi in Pune from Aug 1942 to May 1944, he lived here along with his wife Kasturba. Today, the Aga Khan Palace serves as a memorial to Gandhiji and his philosophies and is one of the top historical places in pune. Its open from 9.00am to 5.30pm and charges 5INR for Indians.
After long day you have to try desert from kayani bakery on 6 East street. It had there since 1955 and serves some amazing cakes and cookies. Its always as crowded as seems in picture and open from 7.30am to 1.00pm and 3.30am to 8.00 pm. They famious for their frashly baked Shrewsberry Cookie, Coconut Biscuits, Vanilla Muffin, Mawa Cup Cake, Mava Cakes and Vanilla Sponge Cake.
Fashion street in a famious flea market in camp area pune which is really cheap. You will get anything and everything over here from 10-500 INR. You can spend the evening enjoying street shopping and having some street foods. M.G Road also has some beautiful cafe's, really pretty CCD's and Subway in old parsi buildings.
Finally you can end your day with a famious jumbo chicken burger from burger king camp (local cafe) which is for 100INR.
