Day 1

SURAT TO WAGHAI GARDEN:

I vividly remember that it was the day of 11 April 2018 when I decided to go to some natural places with my best buddy. We have done many school trips together. Firstly, we decided to go Daman but we visited this place many times so, this time we decided to go to a saputara hill station and the second day, visit Daman. I completed my external college exam 12th April. Finally, the 13th of April came and I really excited to go on this bike trip with my best friend.

I wake up around 6 am after I fill up my travel bag. This day, we started my bike ride around 7:15 am. Surat to waghai garden fastest route 108 km, where we took time approximately 2 hours 20 minutes’ was riding hero company bike ZMR, which has a very comfortable seat as well as a good balance so, we can ride easily on the bike.

WAGHAI GARDEN:

This place is located in the dang district. If you are going to saputara hill station then people should definitely visit this site. There two ways to reach this place: GSRTC bus and local jeeps which are frequently passed. It has a vintage coal steam engine. The engine is placed nearby entrance to the garden.

If you are a student then no entry fees required. Almost 1400 species plants are available in the botanical garden. My favourite plant of this place is bamboo. there are a plethora of interesting types of bamboo-like golden bamboo, Chinese bamboo, beer bottle bamboo and etc. One library and research centre is also available for students. I am especially recommending this place for biology students.

GIRA FALL

Gira falls is located near the waghai garden, which is almost far 4km. It is very popular falls in Gujarat because it is nearby the saputara hill stations. We visited this place in summertime thus not more water so I did not take a long time and spend approx 20 minutes. In the monsoon season, it will be a wonderful experience for folks. These falls lie on a hilly region and are about 30 m high. Emerging from the Kapri Tributary, the falls drop into the Ambica River. Most of Gujarati people say that gira dhodh.
