Trimbak.. A beautiful city located in Nashik district famous for its lord shiva trimbakeshwar temple , which is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas.

We visited this beautiful place in Dec 2018 and it was a weekend trip from Mumbai by car..

We started early in the morning around 6 a.m and we reached there by 10 a.m.

I am sharing some details about my trip below.

1. Temperature- Well December wasn't a good time to visit as it was quite hot during the day which made us really exhausted during the outing.. but night time was quite pleasant.

So I would suggest planning your trip during early winters to enjoy your trip and stay.

2. Stay Grape County Resort - We stayed in Trimbakeshwar for Days and we didn't book our stay in advance because it was a sudden plan so we thought of finding one after reaching there.

Well we went through 2-3 resorts but they were not up to the mark. After a while we reached Grape County Resort which is a big property surrounded by forest.

3. Trimbakeshwar Temple- We headed towards our destination early morning. Firstly it was quite difficult to get the parking because we lost the way but somehow found a private parking few minutes away from the temple. Our start wasn't that memorable but eventually we got entry inside the temple by the help of a priest.

They perform puja and let u go inside the main Sanctum. Well hiring priest wasn't in our plan but without doing so we wouldn't be able do Darshan(pay visit to lord) in time. It saved our time actually. We paid INR 1000 which included priest fees, puja (worship) and items for performing puja.

Also it was done nicely with all the religious mantras.

This holy temple was a treat to eyes. Being there makes you feel positive and enlightened..

One of the oldest and it is the centre of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva.

4. Pandavleni Caves - Also known as Nashik caves. This place was located 18 kms from our resort situated in Nashik.

Enough parking space was available there. After that we had to walk for almost 15min to reach the caves.. we enjoyed the view through out till we reached caves

Buddhist caves are almost similar but every cave has its own beauty. So overall it was beautiful.

Trimbak is mainly famous for its religious purposes and it's one of the sacred places in India.

It's a must visit place in Maharashtra which has a great religious history to it.

We stayed in two different types of accommodations as there were some availability issues so we had to book two types of rooms.

1- Sky Rooms

2- Forest Tent

The changing of the room wasn't fun for a 3 day stay as you have to pack again and move. But it was quite an experience to enjoy different rooms.

In my opinion I loved my stay in Sky Room as it was cosy and had a balcony with a beautiful view . However the Forest tent was not up to the mark because there was no room service available 24*7 because it wasn't fully operational at that time..and we had to order everything at once. So we were a bit disappointed.

But also if you enjoy being amidst nature you will love the place because who wouldn't want to be woken up by the sound of birds singing early in the morning. So it was worth spending time there.

They arranged a bonfire for us to compensate for the discomfort so somehow we enjoyed that.

Beautiful location and a beautiful property. They also have a farm area with lots of cute animals to play with..

They provide tandem bicycles ..so you can enjoy the track that leads to the forest area.

Overall it was a wonderful stay.

I would rate the place, service ,food and staff behaviour 4.5/5
