Not everyone will enjoy back packing or start their journey on a fly, there are few who would like to plan their travel well before they start. For those people, I am listing down few apps that ease their task
Travel can be split into below phases:
- Pre Planning phase: When you have not decided where to go?
- Planning phase: When you know where to go and planning how to?
- Travel phase: When you are in travel already
- Post travel phase: When you have returned from the travel
Pre Planning phase
Based on the below points we can decide where to go
- How much time we have say 2 days, 3 days etc.
- How are we planning to travel via car (own/rent), bike etc.
- With whom are we planning to travel?
Holidify: This app/website gives you the luxury in
: finding the places near you,
: if you have a place in mind it also assists you with the attractions around it,
: it even suggests places based on duration (weekend gateway or long trip) and Region (From me, From Bengaluru or South India, North India)
VisaVisaVisa: This app is very useful if you are planning for a trip abroad as it lists out the countries

With the above apps the pre requisite for the trip is set i.e. places to visit can be easily finalized
In addition to the above, there are more apps or websites without which this list will be incomplete i.e. tripoto, klook, tripadvisor, lonelyplanet etc.
Planning Phase
Once we know where to travel, we will have to plan the below
- Mode of transport (book flights, train or vehicle for travel)
- Accommodation (place for stay)
- Packing (essentials, documents etc.)
Momondo: If we are looking for one stop destination for booking cheap flights, this will help us to book one for sure. This can also help us in getting the accommodation booked for our stay
