Thol Lake – For a beautiful sunrise

Thol lake, a must visit place for nature lovers and bird watchers. Sunrises are beautiful and to add flavours to it migratory birds makes it divine. Thol is about 25Kms from Thaltej, Ahmedabad. Straight and well built roads, passing thru small village make the journey even more soothing, early morning rides you can catch the peacock's calls and some wildlife en route.

One can spot huge variety of birds including shovelers, lesser whistling ducks, comb ducks, grebes, grey herons, open billed storks, painted storks, dalmatian pelicans, flamingos, Hoopoe, Green bee eaters, White throated kingfishers, pied cuckoo, laughing doves, rosy starlings, egrets, Jacana etc.
