A Plan for Progress

The development of Devari as a tourist destination village is part of a proposal by the Department of Tourism and rural development. The proposal aims to promote the village’s bamboo and pottery products and provide more employment opportunities to the villagers. The proposal also includes providing facilities like proper roads, regular electricity and potable water supply, and linking the village with entrepreneurs. The proposal is being prepared and will soon be sent to the state government for approval and sanction of requisite funds.
