We all are under lockdown, and it is quite challenging for us to stay confined in our home. Being travel enthusiasts, it is difficult to stay home for a longer time. With this blog, I want to share some things that you can do to cope with hard times and enjoy your time when you miss travelling.

1. Write about previous adventures

When missing travelling then why not to remember all the trips you have done in the last few years. Think about the best memories of your travel and complete the pending travel journal, travel blog or travel diary. You have got this time to remember the best moments and experiences of your life, and converting them into a written memory is the best thing to do.

You can't travel but you can write about it

2. Prepare a travel playlist and enjoy the music

Music is every traveller's best companion. We all have our travel playlist, which we usually listen all the time we are travelling and sing along. Music is all our heart and soul need sometimes. You all can update your travel playlists or create a new one. Listening music can help to cope the stress and can help you remember the best of moments when you were listening to the same song may be in some road trip or maybe while walking on a beach or maybe while hiking in the deep forests.

3. Watch sunsets

Sunsets are something we as a wanderer desires for may it be sun going down the mountain or sunset at the beach or sometimes just behind the building. Sunsets are beautiful even in cities, and even from our homes. Find a serene place in your home, maybe a terrace or a balcony and enjoy the sun going down and the shades of nature.

4. Click pictures

The camera is all time buddy for the travellers. We all are sitting at home, and our camera is also resting. Be creative and innovative about your surroundings and click pictures. There are a lot of things around you in your home and even a small thing can be used for photography.

5. Take a small walk on your terrace or in front of your home

These lockdown days are challenging, but there is no harm in taking a small walk on your terrace. It is necessary for your fitness and also mental health. Staying home and not able to go out is frustrating and we all need some time for ourself and walking with some music on can help in a good way.

6. Read travel stories

If you love reading, then you can read some travel blogs and stories. This will not only refresh you but help you gain some knowledge about the place you want to travel.

A good place to find engaging content is the Tripoto Family site.

7. Create travel videos

When we travel, we take lots of pictures and videos, but never got the time to create travel movies out of them. Lockdown has given all the time we need to create a movie. Utilize this time as a break and do the things you were not able to do due to lack of time.

8. Organise pictures

We travel and click and click but never really organize our photographs. Why not take out time and organize our photographs from the last trips. You can have a look at your previous photographs and cherish those silly moments captured as memories.

Staying home is also a boon as being a traveller we all hardly get time to stay with family and enjoy the old childhood days. I hope these things can help you to cope with this lockdown.
