While walking towards north of sikkm (chungthang) I got a late to start to get the permit to stay. I could not reach tong or chungthang and could only walk till manul from mangan.

It started getting dark as the sun had gone and the weather of sikkim started taking turns as it started raining. I had no where to go, I started looking for a place around to pitch my camp. But the main worry was that I had didnt just have a place but no water to drink and no food to eat.

I reached manul village where I found an uncle and told him about my situation and asked if I can only get a place to pitch my camp and little water to drink, as food was no priority and I could have slept hungry for one night. The uncle to me to his house where I met his wife, they took me in as their own child.

Mother of manul I call her, without asking any questions she gave me place not just in her house but in her heart. She feeded me like her own son as I had no where else to go. I was treated like a family member like I was born and raised there.

Mother said do not post my picture to tell to the world but I have to break the promise to tell the world how sweet and loving people are in sikkim. Here is just one picture of us together in her house where I stayed for a night and was feeded.

I am thankfull and I bow down to such mothers who present love unconditionaly. Without them my journey or rather my life I must say could have just ended in seconds. Due to her I was able to get a shed in raining night, was able to privide my hungry stomach and could know what real love is.

No matter where I go mother of manul will always stay in my heart, my thoughts and in my stories. Hail mother manul.
