The uncharted Valley of Utarakhand : Chakrata

With so much of confusion before planning this trip. Whether to go for Nainital,  Mussoorie or some other hill station. We found Chakrata on our list. We decided to start our trip from Delhi around 7Am by Self driving 🚗.

We took the upper Ganga Canal road to reach upto kotdwar.

we reached Chakrata around evening 7pm after a long day driving.  We reached our hotel 🏨 & had a Maggie.

The moment I opened my eyes, guess what the balcony view is mesmerizing.

After having a tea at balcony enjoying the view. We went for exploring local market of chakrata.

while exploring the market must try Steamed momos at the entrance of the market.

After having delicious momos at breakfast with pahadi Chai we headed for Tiger fall.

On the way spotted some photogenic place so can't resist ourselves 🤗.

Finally we reached Tiger Fall. 55km from Chakrata. 2 km trekking is worthy 🙌.

Post tiger fall we decided to enjoy the sunset 🌇 at Chilmiri neck view point. Geared our car for it

then we called it a day & returned back to hotel.

A fresh day, We re-energized ourself for "Lakhamandal Shiva Temple". But it was raining 🌧 heavily but we decided to keep the plan on. We then took the ghat route and started moving towards the shiva temple.

On the way we got struck on a muddy road & with the help of locals we continued our journey.

We entered thru the clouds ☁️ & reached Lakhamandal.

on reaching the temple, it's like purifying your soul. We paid a darshan & enquired about history of the temple 🛕.

Then on way we saw Caves of Pandava.

Night we enjoyed bonfire 🔥 at hotel. That's all for the day & we returned to our hotel with all the beautiful memories in our heart ❤.

It's time to say goodbye to such a beautiful unexplored Destination of Utarakhand.
With some snaps on n around our hotel we signed out from Chakrata with style.
