The Tibetan Kitchen, Leh

The Tibetan Kitchen is just a small walk away from the main market in Leh. This restaurant is really a great place to have a taste of the local cuisine. It has a lovely ambience, you can sit inside or outside under the beautiful skies of Leh which definitely adds to the experience. We tried different dishes here and loved it. I would recommend to try out their Thukpa or Thenthuk which is a wholesome meal in itself, the ingredients used are absolutely fresh which gives it a unique taste. You can also try Sabagleb which is a type of a bread stuffed with vegetables and cheese served along with a home made sauce. Even the momos served out here are really amazing and flavourful and also quite big in size. They also serve other cuisines out here. The price of the food is very decent and even the service is very good. We really had an amazing experience while dining out here with amazing food and beautiful ambience.
