The cave Anemotrypa, at Pramanta, Tzoumerka, Epirus, Greece
The charming world of caves with stalactites and stalagmites, fascinates many people! I am one of these people ! The underground world of caves, which seems to be directly pulled out from the country of imagination fascinates me! This otherworldly and mysterious atmosphere, always excites me, so I do not lose a chance to visit any cave I find in my trips.
Recently I was in the village Pramanta, in Tzoumerka Epirus, Greece! The place is very nice and I stayed there three days to relax and get some rest! I heard from the locals that there is a cave in the area, called Anemotrypa, and of course I did not lose the opportunity to visit it! The cave was discovered in about 1960. According to experts, it is large enough, but the path that has been explored and has been given to public is approximately 270 meters. Beneath the cave flows an underground river.
The path through the cave is very interesting. I took some pictures of the stalactites and stalagmites and enjoyed the mystic atmosphere ! I strongly recommend you pay a visit if you find yourself at the area!
