My trip to Uttarakhand became my lifetime memory spending time with my friend Keshav, we explored Srinagar, Khirsu, Dehradun, Mussoorie and around.
For tourists and travelers, Dehradun is a gateway to the hill station Mussoorie, surrounded by spectacular idyllic views and a pleasant climate. We hired a cab from Dehradun for 3 days, the drive was beautiful and we have covered the 30 km drive in one hour.
We had booked our hotel online, it was a decent hotel on the hills with beautiful valley view. We walked on the mall road on the chilly winters with temp less than 5 Celsius, but i love the winters of the mountains.
Day 2 we climbed to Landour and had our breakfast at Char Dukan.
Char Dhukaan is a small place which is near St. Paul's church. This place is called sisters bazaar. It is situated en route to Lal Tibba in Mussoorie. You can go for a walk to enjoy the beauty of this area. We had Maggie, Aaloo Paratha and tea.
Then our next destination was Lal Tibba
Lal Tibba is the highest peak's topmost point and most famous place in Mussoorie. Popular among tourists and travellers for viewing long trails of major mountain peaks as well as romantic sunset and sunrise, Lal Tibba is located at Depot Hill in Landour.
We clicked some nice pics and videos while walking on those beautiful lanes surrounded by virgin forests, towering trees of deodars, oak and others. We had our coffee at a cafe with a view and spend a time with a guitarist and sung few hindi songs.
Next day was for Dhanaulti, we heard people saying it is one of the best place near Mussoorie to explore and Yes we did agreed once we landed there. Place was peaceful and surrounded with towering deodar trees. Our last stop for the day was at Kempty falls. it was worth exploring that place.
