It's located at the base of Himalayan mountains. Siliguri is blessed with the beauty of nature or shall I say it's a paradise of scenic beauty. This city is known to be the gateway of the North East India, Nepal, Bhutan & Bangladesh.

Railways : Siliguri Town Station, Siliguri Junction and New Jalpaiguri Railway Station.

1. Salugara Monastery
It's a Monumental Buddhist monastery & meditation centre. It's a very beautiful and well maintained place conducive to meditation. One of the highlighting features of this monastery is the 100 ft stupa.
2. Bengal Safari.
It was a nice experience sitting comfortably in a bus and going around the jungle seeing wild animals in their natural habitat. There is a zoo for those who don't want to go for a Safari.
Kurseong is a beautiful hill station with breathtaking views, that has pleasant climate throughout the year. It is an hour away from Siliguri. It is surrounded by a large number of tea gardens , museums , deer park and water falls.
4. ISKOON Temple
It's a very beautiful and peaceful temple with good vibes. I was just amazed by the beauty of this place.
5. Tea Gardens
I think if you have come all the way to Siliguri , you shouldn't miss out on the tea gardens which are so green , clean and beautiful. It's a must visit.
Markets :
Bidan market, Hong Kong market , Evening Bazaar are some places where one can buy souvenirs, first and second copies of branded products and a lovely collection of Sarees.

Vega Mall , Cosmall Mall , City centre are some of teh amazing options incase you're looking for branded products.
