Over the period,I have realised that one of the best parts of my travel journeys is Waiting for flight at the airport n then too Delhi airport is my most favourite one. Right now also I m waiting at Chandigarh airport, where my flight to Delhi has already got delayed by approximately 1 hour or so. Since morning, not a single plane has landed bcoz of lack of visibility due to heavy fog. This is like my first time long waiting at the airport due to delayed flight. Last time I had this kind of prolonged waiting when I was coming back to Mumbai from Delhi with my friend, n we missed the flight even though we checked in on time. Also it was my birthday that day n this is not the only reason that I could remember that day so well but the reason behind the fact that we missed the flight was very funny. People just couldn't believe us that we missed the flight as we were having our favourite coffee at our favourite Starbucks n didn't realise that Delhi is silent zone airport, we were waiting for the announcement n by the time we realised the flight took off. We both were just looking at each other started laughing... But seriously it was very funny to miss that flight.
As mentioned earlier, Delhi is my most favourite airport... Don't know why but I always feel very confident, sitting at my favourite food joint, having my favourite grilled chicken dish...it has always been great moment for me n then offcourse to have my fav Hazelnut Latte at Starbucks, adds to a pleasurable experience.
So finally today's wait is over as if now as I got into my flight which has already been delayed by an hour n half. Surely post Landing at Delhi airport I'm going to miss my connected flight to Mumbai, so definitely this time I doubt I will be able to have my good times at Delhi airport as I will already be in a rush to cordinate for next flight to Mumbai n hopefully will get it done properly.
Now the flight is ready to take from Chandigarh, a small little 2 seater Air India aircraft... On the way to Delhi...see u soon at Mumbai but at what time???as if now no idea!!!😉😉😉
