Chatru= Khatru????
When we reached rohtang pass,it was 4 pm time .We thought we could reach Chatru very easily before getting night as it was merely 30 km from there .But we didn't know that it would be the toughest journey for us in whole spiti trip.
First we took the wrong diversion which took our more than two hours as there are many diversion on that way.After taking chatru road our main journey started .
As we started our journey ,only 18 km was left .We thought we can do this but as we continued on that way we found many obstacles .
More than 15 icy water springs on that road which made us feel that we should return.Our bike fell ,we fell .Everybody was falling as in water there were big stones which we could not see as it was dark night .our 18 km journey took more than 5 hours .
So anyone planning to Go spiti via Chatru,never take a ride at night and Go solo on each bike ????
But that journey gave us so many lessons.
Always wear a water proof shoes .
Go solo
Never take a ride at night .
And last but not the least "Chatru is a beautiful place surrounded by lusty mountains and river "
