SOLO TRAVEL : MY EXPERIENCE

This is a very common topic, as people do it quite often as an insta post😂. I would like to share my experience as a solo traveller not that solo solo, it's a group of different travellers from different cities who were total strangers for me.

I went on a trip from Delhi - Manali - Leh - Srinagar. It was a package trip but you need to share rooms with strangers that's why I already mentioned solo solo. I travelled with a total group of strangers for 12 days and guess what I am planning trips with them now😝.

The organizers of the trip were amazing. I had a lot of thoughts in my mind like who will be my roommate, who will take my pictures, will FOMO occurs or not etc etc.Honestly I didn't plan solo. As it happens to us as our  friends ditch us in a sweet way  because of their work goals and other personal issues. At the end after waiting for few years I decided to travel alone.

If you stayed at hostel, in the beginning you were worried and later you miss your hostel then the chances of you enjoying a solo trip is more. What if you stayed with your parents for your whole life, then I suggest you to stay somewhere and try you can handle that as I have seen most of them miss their room, bed and personal space.

I don't believe in Introverts and Extroverts, it all depends on the vibes and dislikes. If you think you are an introvert, but you vibe with a person talking about the things you like, you will start a lengthy conversation. So if you think you are an introvert also you can try this as people do change when they travel.

I am not gonna talk about permission from parents and all😀. But I request you to inform someone close when you travel alone so that in case you met with some bad incidents it will be helpful.

My experience with solo travel was good, but this won't be the situation for others. I suggest to go for small solo trips nearby. Try talking to locals, make new friends. If you enjoy that you should try for more days. Now comes the most important part. When you travel if you are not interacting with the people around you, then you need to pray for getting a Geet Dhillon in your whole journey. There will be some similar interests somewhere in different individuals. You have to find it out. Don't offend eventhough you don't agree.
Now there are many options for female travellers and we can see many upcoming travel vloggers. I suggest you, inspiration from their videos is good, but they do a lots of research and try to make contacts before they leave for a trip.
