{Siberia Day 1- Covered North shore of lake Baikal}
There is something uniquely serene about being in the middle of a frozen lake. Then again, as peaceful and beautiful as it may feel, when the lake you're standing on is not only the deepest in the world, but also crystal clear on the surface, it's tough not to imagine you're tempting fate❄️
Absolutely an astonishing frozen beauty Lake Baikal is.
The sights and scenes give major photography goals.
Walking the frozen shorelines and ice mosaics was an absolutely unique Siberian experience for me.

Winter in Baikal is simply fantastic.
Experiencing the peculiar ice formation, frozen ice cascades was magical. The ice caverns with icicles descending from the ceiling left me awestruck with its splendid beauty.
A place for deeper detox indeed. I was most excited about Lake Baikal when embarking on my Russia trip and I’m very glad to have seen it. It was a satisfying way to bring our time in Russia to an end with this frozen beauty.
