Siachen Open For Tourist - Ladakh Tourism

Finally! Ladakh tourism accounted from it's official twitter handle that Siachen base camp is open for domestic tourism.  This was one of the news came out on world tourism day 2021. Siachen glacier is one of the highest battle ground in the world. Base camp visit will help mango people to understand how tough it is and yet beautiful it is.

The opening was marked by flagging off the first batch of tourists to the Siachen base camp in the presence of Ladakh MP, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal. It was flagged off by Chief Executive Councilor, Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council, Leh, Tashi Gyalson.

Siachen is very close to LOC and located in Karakoram range which is very near to Pakistan. This is a very strategic point for Indian Army and also got the reputation of highest battle field in the world.

This trek will not be easy and meant for everyone. This will take you to different challenging terrain. It will start from Leh and take you to breathtaking beautiful location. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for adventurers.
