Before starting my trip blog. I would like to introduce myself. I am Nakul Sharma belong from modest Hindu family. My origins are from Bikaner (Rajasthan) but I was bought up in Thane (Maharashtra) last 31 Years. Professionally I am a Real Estate Broker in Thane but I have an intrinsic Bug in travelling, so I started my channel Nakool live on YouTube to show people my style of travelling the places. This is my first blog which I am writing on Tripoto, Hence if you like my blog then like & share.
I started my journey in 07:30 in the mild winter morning in March. This was my first circuit tour on my bike. First I am going to Bhimashnkar Temple known for its majestic history. I preferred taking route through Lonavala for pleasant riding. I took stop over to fuel my bike. It cost me Rs1200 for full tank at price of Rs100/litre. After fueling I was riding nonstop till Bhimashankar. When I crossed Lonavala, after 10kms I took left for Talegaon MIDC by directions shown on the Google maps. The ride through villages was tough due to twist and turns, incline roads and some patches were rough because of bad condition of the road. But it was good to have network throughout the ride.
I reached at 01:00 pm. I covered 192kms in 4 and half hours. I took off all riding gears which I was wearing, and then I took step ahead for Shiv darshan. There was a descending steps towards Temple in between there were many stalls for Prasad, garlands and refreshments. It took me 5 minutes to reach temple as there was no crowd because of COVID situation and it was Monday after all. It was a wonderful experience to get darshan at Bhimashankar, one of the 12 jyotirlings across nation. They were following all safety measures and me too. After coming back I took my entire luggage which I kept at refreshment stall and headed towards dhaba along the road side near to the temple. I ordered green peas masala and 3 rotis which cost me Rs100. The lunch at Dhaba was too delight and luscious.
After taking darshan and having a desi lunch at Sai Dhaba, I proceeded for next place where I have a stay for overnight and that place is Pawna Lake. I left Dhaba around 03:oo pm. I have to make rush as I was already running late and wanted to reach before sunset. The check in time was 04:00 pm but couldn't reach on time because it takes 3 hours to reach Pawna Lake. Somehow I maintained my speed and riding my bike nonstop and reached my destination around 06:00 pm by dodging the traffic at Chakan (Pune). It was not tough to find Pawna Lake as I had Google maps on my phone docked on my bike's handle.
The Time when I entered campsite my first visual was the gigantic lake and the scene was marvelous. The tent can accommodate 2 people but I was alone and above that it was weekday so they offered entire tent to me alone. It was placed right in front of the Lake. They charged me Rs1200/person which includes high tea, barbeque, dinner, breakfast and stay which was quite reasonable. I got settle down; removing all my biking gears and luggage I kept in the tent. They served me hot Bhajiya and Chai in High Tea. I had High tea sitting in front of the lake enjoying the view. There was only 1 couple and group of friends in campsite. In no time we became friends. Whole night we were doing parties discussing all chill scenes of life, strolled around lake in the dark under the open celestial sky and the temperature went low around 12 degrees. After party we all went to sleep.
I woke up at 07:00 am. Took some nice shots of the lake, birds and mountains around the lake for my YouTube video. The morning was alluring at the lake and quite serene. Then I came back, got freshen up, they have the good facilities for washroom and bathroom which clean and hygienic. Breakfast was served at buffet. They got Poha, Bread butter and jam and chai. You can make special request for breakfast if you need but on extra cost, Overall food was delicious. After finishing up my breakfast I went for swimming in the lake. I took my towel and wore my swimming trunks. I can't tell you, I had sublime experience after almost 2 decades. Shot a video to upload on my channel. Having couple of strokes in the lake I came out and got ready for next place.
I left Pawna at 12:00 pm and my next destination was 2 and half hours away. I am very excited to go that place as I was waiting to visit that place for 3 months. The next destination is in Pali (Maharashtra) I have booked entire house situated on top of the hill measuring 7 acres of land in Chandargaon village in Pali. I booked this place for Rs 1200/person on airbnb and food cost was Rs500 for lunch, dinner and breakfast.
The temperature was damn hot mounting 40 degrees and the condition of the road was really poor at before 10 kms of the stay. As I said house is built on the hill so can't expect smooth road and was quite bumpy, 80 degrees incline road and again 70 degrees descending for house. It was very adventurous, though I enjoyed. Reached at 02:30 pm at the place.
I entered into the house and my first reaction was astounding! It was a 1 bhk house but it was kept so well that I made up my mind to be there for lifetime. I was damn tired so got settled and meanwhile my lunch also arrived in Tiffin which was home cooked. I had a bite and it was literally amazing in taste and quantity was enough for 2 people but I was hungry that ate everything. After lunch I took a nap and woke up at 5 pm. I stood up at sun deck and enjoying the sunset view. I thought of to take a round of the property after enjoying sunset, but there was no attraction apart from this home. I spent my evening and night looking at the surroundings, listening to the silence and feel the vibe of the nature. I must say it was my finest staycation and that too solo. I had my dinner and went to bed at 12 am.
Next day I woke up at 7 pm. I slept well, laze and recline. Now you won't believe, when I stepped outside at sun deck. I could see sunrise from same place where I saw sunset yesterday. I never experienced this feeling till now. Few minutes after I went to get freshen up and sat for meditation and yoga at the deck, then I had Upma in breakfast, got ready after taking bath. I warmed up my milk on stove and took a sip of it. It was pure and relishing milk of buffalo without sugar. My preferred style of drinking milk. Finishing all my morning schedule I had to check out at 11 am. I packed my bags, loaded on my bike. Wore my biking gears. I checked out from that place and informed the care taker who was very sweet and offered him a little tip for his hospitality throughout my stay.
