Departed from Srinagar on 8 Royal Enfields knowing that this was going to be the one of the most adventurous trip ever. Accompanied by my friends from High School with whom I grew up. We left Srinagar District at around 6:30 a.m. in the morning and we stopped in Sonmarg a beautiful place with a river by its side. We stopped there for a tea break. We left from there after half an hour heading towards a destination which was Kargil. After crossing the battle base camp our journey on one of the most dangerous highways started. At around 30 minutes of riding where is the most famous zojila pass not after crossing the zojila pass we stopped at a place called zero point. The view was amazing. Even in the month of July they were snow-covered mountains and the road between them which led to Leh. By the side of the road there was a tea stall. And I'm sure no one would miss this opportunity of having a hot tea in this place. After we finished we headed towards our destination. We crossed a please called grass the coldest inhabited place on Earth. I've been riding for about a hour we were about to enter Kargil. Before we reached gargle our eyes were caught by a War Memorial named as Kargil War Memorial we stoped there and decided to have a visit but unfortunately we were late. So we decided to go there when we come back and headed towards Kargil. We reached our destination at 5 p.m. in the evening. After checking in in the hotel room and having some rest we took our camera and other stuff and started to explore Kargil. A beautiful place I actually have no words to say about the place and the people. It is a small town inhabited by people having really big hearts. We interacted with the local people and learn much more about their culture. After doing all this we went back to our hotel and ended the day thinking about what will happen tomorrow.
