Review of Aahana resort

Tripoto
In the north Indian state of Uttarakhand, in the lush Patlidun valley, district Nainital lies Aahana-the Corbett Wilderness, situated exactly seven kilometers from Ramnagar, on the Ramnagar-Kalagarh road. It touches the forests of Corbett National Park.
I stayed at Aahana resort twice once with friends and second time with my family. One of the key reasons for liking the resort, i find the whole experience of staying at Aahana, at par with African wildlife resorts. Here fine living and dining blend perfectly with ample views of wildlife and their habitat. One can see and listen to wildlife from the living rooms and other areas.
The restaurant & swimming pool decks offer excellent sightings of wild elephants, jackals, and deer, besides occasional wild boars. It is difficult to miss the chirping of the airborne species, especially in the mornings and evenings. The entire property has been landscaped with forest species and grasses to provide extended space to wildlife.
They are truly an eco-friendly resort and their commitment towards environmental conservation and responsible living are highly commendable. They have an organic garden on the property, from where the fresh vegetables are plucked and sued for cooking.
The resort provides a lot of things to keep the little ones engaged. I especially loved the cycling track, and the surroundings.
