Day 2

Hello all of you 😊

I hope you all have read my travel experience I shared with you all in my day 1 trip Mumbai to Vengurla.
After reaching Vengurla late evening sipping a drink or two and went of to sleep.

Next Morning - I got up around 8 am it was a good morning birds chirping in the background which was so soothing to the ears.. Climate was also pleasent.

I went out had a talk to the owner asking them about the local places to visit etc..

He said there is a Ganpati Mandir, Vengurla beach, Shiroda Beach, Mochemad Beach, Tirakol Fort (Goa) and Mandavi back waters.

There you can also do a mangroves Safari where you will come to know about the importance of Mangroves.

I started off my day visiting the temple (Redi Ganpati Mandir) which has a rich history.

They say that the Idol of Ganesh ji inside the temple was found underground while mining in old days.

They also say that a Guy name  Sadashiv Kambli had a dream about the Ganesh idol lying there underground, He than went there to the location and asked the people to dig the area to see if there is actually a Ganesh idol lying there or not.

And guess what they actually found the Ganesh idol underground.

It was found in 1976 near Rewati where the iron mining was done.

I spent about an hour and then continued my journey towards Tirakol Fort.

Tirakol Fort is actually converted into a Heritage hotel.

From Tirakol Fort you can see Qurim beach ⛱️
The first beach of Goa.

Tirakol Fort is situated on the Tirakol river at Maharashtra - Goa Border.

Stay available at Tirakol Fort tariff starting from 8000/- per night

The rest of the evening I spent at Shiroda Beach enjoyed the Sunset and capturing some birds and Sea view.

At Shiroda Beach there is also a river flowing and merging with the sea. A beautiful scene to watch.
