While travelling from Jhansi to Delhi, I was literally in a dilemma about whether should I explore the Jhansi fort or head straight to Delhi. As a history buff and admirer of Rani Lakshmibai, I couldn't resist the opportunity to visit the fort where this legendary queen lived and fought the British Raj. It was a chance to experience the fort firsthand and learn everything I could about it.
I hired a guide who shared the fascinating history of the fort and Rani Lakshmibai's life.
