Pushkar lake is situated in Ajmer at Rajasthan. The lake holds spiritual significance as per the vedic culture. As per vedic history it's been created by Lord Brahma who is also the creator of the entire universe. This is the only place on the planet which holds a Brahma Temple. It's is believed that bathing in this lake provides purity of mind and deeds. The lake is of 22 km circumference and its water source in and out is from loni river. The closet airport is Sanganer 146 kms and Ajmer railway station 11 kms. In season this place is well crowded. Visiting a bit off season can give a peaceful time at the lake.
