Prakriti Aalay, A Eco Resort Nestled in the Foothills of the Dhauladhars

Prakriti Aalay, as the name suggests is truly the abode of nature. Nestled between a flowing stream and a pine forest at the foothills of the Himalayas, this property is where nature comes together - be it in the construction, that uses locally sourced natural materials, or the garden where fruit trees and flowering plants are in abundance. One can become a child swinging in the rope swings suspended from the large mango tree, or simply bask in the sun on the open deck. You could go birding in the pine forest or simply soak your feet in the cold Himalayan stream. The food is brilliant, I particularly loved the pahadi mutton. Evening bonfires, morning jungle walks and afternoon stream side walks will keep you occupied during your stay at Prakriti Aalay. All in all, an amazing experience away from the din of touristy Mcleodganj.
