Poda island a true Paradise in Krabi #IslandLife

I always wished and dreamt of spending a day at an Island , surrounded by soothing waves of water, calmness of the place, serene view of endless water , burst of colours , shades of trees , hammocking in between and what not.

All these wishes of mine came true when i took a trip to Thailand. I took a day tour to Krabi Islands and one among it was Poda Island. I was picked from Railey beach and a 15-20min journey via speedboat to this beautiful Island. The first impression from this island view was just far behind my imagination & breathtaking , it was a paradise with white sand and turquoise colour water

Poda Island is an small limestone island which is stunningly beautiful with pristine white soft sands wrapped by crystal clear water, at the shore it is warm and you enter little deep its cold. This island is surrounded by palm trees and pine mangroves leading to limestone rock cliffs there are corals all through the Island.

The island has swimming area, snorkelling / Kayaking area , life guards all around just gave me the vibes of Baywatch movie. There is a small God idol place as you enter the mangroves , seating areas are made to relax , you can put up your tents , hammocks are made available, restaurant is available for drinks , a perfect island life can be led here.

I would recommend this place to be visited at morning as it is the perfect time and perfect weather condition, cool breeze makes it perfect time for swim & snorkel. The vast stretch of different shades of water is something to behold. This place is less crowded with less boats parked under shades making it a peaceful and silent place. Drink in hand, enjoying the shade of trees , feet inside white sand , view of endless water , cool breeze, soothing music of water waves is the perfect Island life i led.

I would love to visit this place again if i get chance.
