Pensi La is a significant mountain pass in Ladakh. This mountain pass connects the Suru valley to the Zanskar valley and serves as the Suru River’s watershed destination. This pass marks the entrance of Ladakh on the Srinagar road, and the scenery changes dramatically from here.
Because of its great height, the Pensi La pass provides magnificent vistas, and spending some time here soaking in all the natural beauty surrounded by solitude is a fantastic experience. The pass is near to Kargil, and you may visit both places at the same time.
The Pensi La is also adjacent to a beautiful glacier lake and the Drang Drung Glacier. If you want to learn more about the area, you may go to the Rangdum Monastery, which is around 25 kilometres away from the pass.
