Day 1
The patalsu peak trek starts from solang village in manali. It takes 6 kms to reach its base camp. Which goes through green forest, awesome snowcaped mountain views. Once you reach basecamp you have a descent view of mountain peaks and a water stream side campsite.

Day 2
Push to the summit/peak. Day 2 is a bit challenging. The tree line ends after 2 km from the base camp. You get to see a drastic change in the landscape. The sun gets harsh on the skin(using suncreen and hats is a must) the terrain also get changed. One has to hike/climb approx 10 to 11 kms to reach the summit. Peaks visible from the summit are Hanuman tibba, friendship peaks, rohtang pass and a few more.you get 360 degree view of the entire valley.
