It is situated in Nasik city outside area. This caves are a group of 24 caves carved between the 1st century BCE and the 3rd century BCE(more than 2000 years ago). These caves are represent Hinayana Buddhisam.It is holy place for buddhist. In these caves there are monasteries, shrines, water tanks, pillars, and carvings found inside are remarkable.You need to climb a small hill which require around 250 steps. Very nice atmosphere as we were here around in monsoon season. You can have breathtaking views of the city from the top of the hill.
The Dada Saheb Phalke Smarak lies at the foot of the Pandavleni caves and it showcases the work of Dadasaheb Phalke.

how to reach here:
If you are traveling by air than nearest airport is in Nasik city and from there you can have an auto or taxi directly to the Pandavleni caves. Nearest railway station is Nasik road.
Stay:
There are lots of budget as well 5 star hotels are situated in the city. We were stayed in sai saya hotel, Nasik highway. They are offering nice facilities with foods also.
Places to visit nearby:
Various vineyards(sula, york etc.) are situated near the Pandavleni Caves and they have organised winery visit.
Anjeri hills- nice for trekking.
Various Hindu temples i.e. Kalaram temple, Kapileswara Temple, Panchavati etc.
