Ramakkalmedu is a hill station located about 15 Km from Nedumkandom. The main tourism importance of this place is the presence of excellent wind from TamilNadu. Anchuruli
Anchuruli is a lesser known tourist destination in Idukki district for many travelers. 10 kilometers away from Kattappana, this small village offers you the breath taking views of the catchment area of Idukki dam especially during monsoon season.
The main attraction of Anchuruli is the 4 kilometers long tunnel from Erattayar through which water is flowing from a dam at Erattayar. The surrounding area is an evergreen forest with wild animals.
The name Anchuruli derived from the 5 small hills that are submerged in the reservoir and they look like inverted vessels.
The road itself is a beautiful destination in idukki , in rainy season we can see small watestreams in the side of the roads.

At a distance of 10 Kms from Idukki & 55 Kms from Munnar, Kalvari Mount, also known as Calvary Mount is an important tourist place in Idukki District.
The Kalvari Mount Viewpoint offers a charming view of idukki. Reservoir from Idukki to Ayyappancovil on one side and panoramic view of Kamakshy and Mariyapuram villages on the other side. It is one of the most scenic places in Idukki and a must visit place in the district.
The view point is situated near Thankamani Junction on Thodupuzha - Puliyanmala highway.
