Nalsarovar, a hidden gem of Gujarat

It's always exciting to go on sudden road trips and this one for me was a whole another experience for me with me friends.

We decided to go to a place called "Nalsarovar bird sanctuary ", situated in the state of Gujarat.

How to reach there?

Hire a cab from Ahmedabad. It's a 1.5 hours drive by road to reach there. The roads are covered with lush green trees throughout the way and are low on traffic. In our case we set off from Ahmedabad at 4:30 in the morning. We were 3 riders and it took us around 2.5 hours to reach there as it was January winters and we were going at an average pace.

After reaching there we parked our bikes and bought the tickets, that was around 500/- Rs per head which includes the hiring of the boat also. There are different types of packages available and the one mentioned above is the cheapest one which only includes the boat ride in the lake along with bird watching.

Cheatsheet:

Take the cheapest package mentioned above and pay 100-200/- rupees extra to the boat owner and he will be ready to escalate you to the most premium package which includes a halt at an Island.

On your sail the boat sailor will tell you about all the migratory birds and will also take you through some spooky water routes ????????.

When you get off on the island for the halt don't forget to click as many pictures as you can utilizing your photography skills because it's the only thing which you can do there ????????????????.

Get back to the main area and then leave for your home. The whole trip would only take a day time but it's worth the time.
