Be honest. Everyone must have dreamt of making a life in Mumbai atleast once. I have dreamt of it several times. But all I could do is explore this city as a traveller.
Mumbai, is rightly known as city of dreams. People from different walks of life, from around the world come to this city to achieve all that they had once dreamt of.
Exploring Mumbai as a traveler gave me a wider perspective towards the life in the capital of Maharashtra. And one thing is for sure, life in Mumbai is not easy. Travelling by local/metro, giving a buffer time of around 1-2hrs before we reach our office, college or any destination, being always on the run in the city especially during rush hours, all look fascinating at one point but living this life everyday takes a toll on your health.
After all the drawbacks that this city might have, I am still in love with the positive vibes this place gives me. The best part of staying in Mumbai is, your fashion game is always on point, after all we are in the city of Bollywood.
This city has everything, from the cleanest (Aksa Beach) to the busiest (Juhu) beach, from a wide range of pubs to enjoy a perfect nightlife to a variety of famous cafes and choupati (street food joints).
After Pune if I have enjoyed any place's nightlife, then that has to be Mumbai, the second safest place in Maharashtra after Pune, in terms of women safety.
Mumbai offers you some religious destinations as Siddhivinayak Temple, one of the Ashtvinayak temples in Maharashtra and Mount Mary Church. Some more famous destinations of the city, now have become the bollywood star's homes like Mannat, Galaxy, Jalsa and the film city, of course.
And how can we forget the mighty Gateway of India, where the tourists can enjoy boating and take a ride till the Elephanta caves,a caves on an island near the Gateway of India.
This was my journey in brief to the city of dreams, the city that never sleeps (which is literally true). Do share your thoughts on the city in the comments below.
