My first Holi in Rishikesh

Hello everyone, This is shivani from Lucknow. I am here to share my experience of Holi when I was first time  away from my family. I always had dream about enjoy Holi out side like famous places , Barsane , puskar, rishikesh. So finally i decided to visit rishikesh first .Thanks to my travel partner, without you I couldn't possible for me. So we had started our trip from Kanpur. We left kanpur near about 1 pm, our route plan was via Delhi because we had to pick our frnds. All journey was good but little bit hectic. We reached Delhi near about 7pm. And continued for rishikesh. That season was of Mahakumbh in Haridwar, so whole haridwar was totally changed, so much lights ,so much clean , wall painting, it was very beautiful to capture view  in night .we took 10 mint stop and enjoyed view. After that we reached rishikesh at 1 pm. So we decided to stay in Rishikesh for one night. Where we stayed hotel was ok ok . I will not prefer that one . But we didn't had any option so we stayed. In morning we decided to go river rafting. Ofcourse without river rafting in Rishikesh, it means nothing. So we went for rafting. And enjoyed alot, like rafting, Cliff jumping, Maggie at Maggie point. It was fun. After that we check out from our hotel and moved to our booked camp. Bagheera camp, is situated at Badrinath road. This is connected by bridge where you can't get your any vehicle you have to cross it by walk only. So we parked our vehicle one side and crossed bridge. Camp was little much away from river bank . There was three camp, VNA , BAGHEERA and don't know other's name . But I will surely recommend to VNA RESORT. It is just near river bank. Means if you want to enjoy view choose it. Anyway we moved in our camp. Camp very clean, and tent was also spacious with private bathroom. It also had swimming pool . And best thing about that camp there is little waterfall beside it. I couldn't captured pic of that.In camp , there was many families, friends group, couple . We were total 6 members so we booked 2 tents. We were so tired so we had a nap and in evening we went to Laxman jhula. Enjoyed ganga aarti, pizza at cafe and best honey Ginger tea. Cafe was near to river and from 1st floor of camp view was awesome , lights at Laxman jhula, sound of river. At return we decided that we will enjoy Holika Dahan at our camp. But I will suggest if you really want to enjoy Holika Dahan please be at Laxman jhula. At Chauraha ceremony of holidahan was very amazing. It was Fully crowded by peoples, so much sound system. Peoples are dancing, enjoying, so we too . Next day in morning we had breakfast at camp  and got ready for Holi. All visitors were there with their colours , cracker . I still remember there was a family which were totally enjoying. They were fully prepared about Holi like colour, cracker , more colours . So we danced , we played colour , and It was totally fun as I expected.
