In my previous article, I had covered in detail regarding the itinerary, Day 1 attractions and utilization of lounge in airports

Today let me describe about day 2 activities i.e.

1. India - Bangladesh border

2. Krangshuri falls

3. Dawki river boating and cliff jumping

Our day started witnessing both Sun and Moon at the same time in the morning, which is something we see rarely. Today's generation do not see sunrise itself very often, for them its a magical moment

Day 2

Post that we started towards India Bangladesh border, which is my first border visit. It was a memorable moment and we clicked few pics in memory of its visit. There is nothing much to see, but a moment of seeing a nation's border

On the way to next attraction Krangshuri falls, we could see different types of landscapes attracting visitors and photographers to capture them

We reached the parking slot where we had delicious breakfast (of course its Maggie, bread omelet and Rice Daal). We pre-ordered lunch here at cost of 100/- per plate that includes Rice, Daal, 2 veg curries and Pappad so that by the time we come back from falls we can eat hot lunch peacefully and start towards Dawki river

We need to get down few hundred steps to reach view point, followed by falls. There is a entry fee to most attractions in Meghalaya.

Krangshuri falls entry is 50/- for adults and 30/- for kids (Paid by organizers). Also, 50/- rent for each life jacket which is mandatory for us to get into the falls (its our expenditure here, where as jacket at Dawki river is included in package)

Its really chill water and everyone cannot dare to freeze while swimming in that water. I am talking about chillness at around 11 am in the morning, imagine the chillness in early mornings and evenings :-)

Caution: People with weak hearts not recommended !

We spent almost 2 hours here and climbed up exhausted craving for lunch (luckily hot food would be ready when we reach hotel as we planned well and ordered it before only ! )

Once we are up in parking area (hotels are present here), we ate lunch happily and quickly as everyone were very hungry and started towards one of Asia's cleanest rivers

We should not forget that the days here are short here, so we need to wind up our day by 05:30 or 06 pm. So, we started to get down and move quickly for boating area on arrival at Dawki river

Boating and cliff jumping is covered in package, so coordinator started first and was ready with 5 boats booked for 17 of us including him. Instructors (local people) were kind and polite, they greeted us and handed over life jackets required for cliff jumping before staring boating

Cost: 800/- per boat and max 2-3 people allowed per boat

Boating activity is around 45 mins and if we participate in cliff jumping as well, it may take around 1.5 - 2 hours at Dawki river

We will be taken to a particular location for cliff jumping, who ever interested can give it a try. Challenge your fear for heights, we can wear life jacket and take our jump.
Boatmen really motivated us to take it up as it's a daring and adventurous activity. Only 4 of us tried this and experienced the real joy and thrill

Post all the activities at Dawki river, we felt hungry. So, stopped at the near by cafe to have some snacks before heading towards our stay

Day 2 ended with same dinner menu as day 1. We just spent more time at campfire just listening to music. Some added chorus to it and few do added dance steps just the little energy left for the day

As mentioned in previous article, some work around was done to ensure there is no water leakage from the roof top along with changing entire bedding in our rooms.
Weather was more cold on day 2 i.e. it reached 3 degrees at mid night. Thanks to busy day which made us sleep well forgetting all cold there.
