We returned to Paris from where we left for Versailles which is just 20 km away from Paris. Here, we witnessed one of the most magnificent chateaus in France, the "Palace of Versailles". Every inch of this palace is drenched in opulence! Check detailed itinerary here.

It was our last day here in Paris. Today we explored the Montmarte area which was home of the famous Van Gogh during his initial years and acted as inspiration for many of his paintings. After some souvenir shopping we did au revoir to Paris and boarded flight back to India. This brought the end to our 2 weeks trip with a promise to come back again!
