Maruthi hills - Regaining your sanity

Maruthi hills or maruthimala is the least explored or less travelled place in the land of cashews. Just a few kilometers from kollam, Southern kerala, this just gives you the view of long stretched small hills and streams. This place is certainly not one for the faint hearted. An off-road​ travel of a kilometer uphill and the hilltop climb for a quarter hour make you reach this mystical place.

All the tiredness of the trail will be washed away by the cool breeze and the rising sun. You can spend as much as time you wish to at there. There is also a small temple nearby on the rocks and make sure you escape the scorching sun before noon.
