Almost 90% of the country is a part of the huge Sahara desert. We decided to go for a desert safari to to know the dry region better. They are not just sand dunes over there but more.

We decided to have a ride along the sand arranged by our guide, and had a great time. No need to mention the atmospheric heat over there I guess.Make sure that you take plenty of water with you and clothes that really makes the heat go easy on you.

You can find beautiful oasis - valleys down here as a relief from the heat. Get hold of an efficient guide and he will guide you to the touristic places.

The beautiful lakes really tempted me to stay there for more while than we planned. They are fresh water lakes and you take a sip from them if you are really thirsty. Its a group of 20 lakes here.
