Lavasa

Day 1

Hello People,

My name is Gauri. I am from Mumbai.

So, as it is Lock-down i thought to share all my travel experience with everyone and i think Tripoto is one of the best platform where i can share My Travel Journey.

So, here i am gonna share 1st small trip of 2020. I am solo traveler.

I was planning how to start 2020 so in the rush of daily routine i was trying to find good place where i can just go for 1 Day trip, at last my search engine end at this place "Lavasa - Italy of Maharashtra".

So, as i am from Mumbai this journey was bit hectic. Distance was 96.5 km & Duration was minimum 4 hours to maximum 6 hours. If your budget traveler then you can get down at Pune Railway Station, from there you can get direct Local Taxi to Lavasa or else you can get down by hiring Rickshaw at Chandani Chowk & from there you can get direct Local Taxi to Lavasa (I did this as i was not having any idea that from Pune to Lavasa Journey will be this much hectic). So, it will be highly advisable please drive direct from your place or book car or taxi in advance for Pune to Lavasa Journey.

Tip : For Pune-Lavasa-Pune you can contact with the person where you have book your hotel. As they no need to pay entrance charges which is arround Rupees 700 - 800.

So, after 2 hours hectic journey i reached Lavasa from Pune.

When i entered inside the main city it surprised me because i never ever expected this can be real.

It was feeling like i am doing international tour, it felt exactly as i am in Venice, Italy.

When you travel from Lavasa gate to main city you get heavenly experience of bundle of greenery.

There are so many activities which you can do in budget which is Walk along the Lavasa Nature Trail, Jet Ski on Lavasa lake, Enjoy Kayaking, Take a romantic boat ride, Try some popular food items along Lakeside Promenade.

Additionally, you can visit amazing places in Lavasa. Temghar Dam, Panshet Dam, Varasgaon Dam, Ghangad Fort, Lakeshore Watersports, The Karvi Spa, Tikona Fort, Devkund Waterfall, Bamboosa, Tamhini Ghat, Torna Fort, Mulshi Dam, Bhira.

So, i reached at my hotel around 6-7 pm. Laterally i got fresh, till the time i go and explore the place it was already dark. So, i decided to take a walk around, i didn't click any pictures cause it was to dark out. i went back to my room.

Day 2:

Due to too much hectic day i woke up so late, again i miss the day & all other activities, i asked hotel in-charge to drop me back to Pune Station as checkout time was 12 pm. I asked him to give me small city tour. I left the room & the city tour was amazing, the guy was explaining me each and every part of the Lavasa City as he was the residential from Lavasa it self. He explained all the History of Lavasa. He stop the car on the scenic views aswell. after 15-20 min tour we start heading to Pune Station. He drive to Pune to station Non-stop so we reached at station approximately in 45 min - 1 hour. The journey from car was not hectic with that Lavasa City Tour & my back to home journey start from train☺️.

Lavasa City solo tour was amazing experience.

But, because it was unplanned trip of mine, it was hectic for me.
