Ever heard of a place called as Bhaderwah? Well, that's exactly what I am here to tell you about. It is a small town nestled in the Pir Panjal Range of the Himalayas and is a land of splendour and surprises. Its beauty has earned it the name of "Mini-Switzerland"
When I visited Bhaderwah, I was mesmerised by the beautiful landscape of mountains and milky rivers, shining with the beaming sunlight! Whenever I enter this quaint little town and swerve through the serpentine roads, this place adds to its mystique and charm. There are new valleys to explore, new roads to take and new fields to see throughout the changing seasons.

Surrounded by the snow-clad Pir Panjal hills, the town is ringed by dense coniferous forests. There are several significant religious and historical places belonging to Hindus and Muslims. The meadows of Sarthal, Seoj, Jai Ghati, Chinta valley, Padri, and Bal Padri have remained hidden from explorers because since 1947, the focus has remained on Kashmir or religious places in Jammu.

Here are few pictures, of the places I have visited in Bhaderwah

The tourist department of this sleepy town has been in deep slumber for over a decade, that they are not promoting tourism. So come one and all to this unexplored and untouched part of India, to wake the tourist department up and I am sure while we do that you are not going to be disappointed by its unbridled beauty.
