Kedarnath Dham, located in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand, is one of the most paramount locations for worshipers of Shiva. The air appears to be reverberating with the name of Lord Shiva amid the mighty snow-clad peaks, enchanting meadows, and forests of the lower mountain range of the Himalayas. Situated in a breath-taking location, near the source of the Mandakini River and at the height of 3,584 meters, Kedarnath Dham celebrates the greatness of Lord Shiva. Kedarnath temple is one of the 12 Jyotir Lingams and is also the most important temple among the Panch Kedars (group of 5 Shiva temples in Garhwal Himalayas). It is also one of the significant temples of the sacred Chota Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand, raising the glory of the place to further heights.
Kedarnath Trip Itinerary
DAY 0: DEPART FROM DELHI
Gather & report at Mayur Vihar Phase-1 Metro Station at 8:30 pm & meet other trippers. Board the vehicle and depart for Guptakashi, Uttarakhand. (412 km, 10hrs ) An overnight journey from Delhi to Kedarnath.
DAY 1: ARRIVE GUPTAKASHI
In the morning pit stop at Devprayag - Witness the beautiful Sangam of Bhagirathi & Alaknanda.
We will reach Guptakashi by noon. Hotel check-in & take rest after a long journey. After rest, Self-exploration, or you can explore the location on foot. Little water to Guptakashi temple.
By evening back to the hotel. Have tea & soup with snacks in the evening followed by dinner & overnight stay in the guest house.

DAY 2: TREK KEDARNATH
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the stunning & scenic landscape. Freshen up, have breakfast with morning tea, and get ready for Kedarnath trekking which is 16KM on one side.
After breakfast, we will proceed to Phata Sonprayag: Kedarnath starting point. A trek but full of scenic beauty. Kedarnath is situated at an astonishing height of 3584 meters above sea level near the head of the Mandakini River. Kedarnath is about 16 Kms trekking with beautiful and amazing views greener. Kedarnath is an ideal place to seek mental peace, this temple is popular among the locals and trekkers as well.
Kedarnath Mandir Trek
Altitude: 11,755 ft.
Time takes: 8-9 hours, 16 km
After a long trek, fresh up and have dinner. An overnight stay in a guest house.

DAY 3: TREK BACK & DRIVE TO CHOPTA
Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the stunning & scenic landscape. Freshen up & have breakfast.
Get ready to trek back to Sonprayag. Reach to Sonprayag after 4-5 hrs. and proceed for Chopta. (71 km)
Reach to Chopta. Check in to camps of Chopta. Enjoy the mountain view peak of Kedarnath. Fresh up and have dinner. An overnight stay in Chopta.

DAY 4: DEORIATAL LAKE AND DEPARTURE TO DELHI
Wake up early for a natural breath-taking sunrise view of Chopta. Have breakfast and get ready to trek to Deoriatal Lake.
Enjoy the view of Deoriatal Lake and spend some time making reels and group pictures. Hike back and have lunch and departure for Delhi.

DAY 5: REACH TO DELHI
Reach Delhi in the morning with a bucket load of memories and endless pictures. We are also sure that nostalgia will hit you right in the feels. Later, we bid goodbye to our fellow travelers, say TATATATA to your tripper friends.
