Kedarkantha being my first Himalayan trek every little thing tend to fascinate me the scale of the mountains, serene clean surroundings, thin fresh air made me feel alive. Those tiny pit stops during the trek and chai they serve in such extreme conditions was definitely a cherry on the cake.
On the first day of our trek right after we reached the campsite i.e; Juda Ka Talab it started snowing cats and dogs and unfortunately we couldn't get a view of the Himalayan range in any of our campsites and including the summit day which was really disappointing after all the expectations. But, on the last day at Hargaon, we woke up to a ray of hope when the sky cleared its way resulting in a spectacular view of the Himalayan range. All of us sipped some chai and stood there gazing at the beauty Himalayas had to offer.
Overall the trek was definitely a beautiful experience, even though I was disappointed with not being able to get the 360 degree view of the mighty Himalayas on the summit day, I cherished every moment up there. You can never question the mountains what we see and seek is all we deserve afterall.
