KASHI.... THE ETERNAL CITY

Kashi.. Banaras... Varanasi.... This city has many names. This is worlds oldest living Inhabitants city. People says Kashi is older then even history. No one knows how old is this city. This city has its own character, charm, speed, etc. In the year 2015 I got the opportunity to visit this eternal city.

The experience I got there. I am going to share with you

GHATS ---- there are more than 80 ghats here in Kashi. Once you are on the ghat. It's mesmerizing there. Whole life cycle you can see here. Different shades of life you can here on ghats. On some particular ghat I saw some families they were giving first bath to their kids. On some particular ghat you can see someone is busy in painting , someone is busy in dancing, people busy in different things. Things they love to do. There is something different in the air of Kashi. These ghats & narrow roads ( galiyan ) makes Kashi authentic, after watching happiness all around I saw some ghats where final cremation was Happening. This was the largest cremation house on the ghats. I was amazed after watching at all. Whole phases of life you can see hear birth, death, enjoy, sorrow, once you are on ghats you forgot everything. You connect with yourself like naver before. I am telling you I can spend my whole on these ghats. Every ghats has its own story, own history. Some popular ghats as follows

Manikarnika ghat,,,,,, assi ghat,,,,,,, ahilya ghat,,,, tulsi ghat,,,,, harishchandra ghat,,,,

Etc.

kashi vishwanath temple belong to Lord shiva. It's shiva, s own city. This temple is the center of the Kashi.

This temple is one of the 12 jyotirlinga of shiva.

Some people say this city Kashi situated on edge of shiva, s 🔱Trident. When I visited that time I went through some narrow roads but now it's a new temple corridor opened by the government. This whole corridor is much beautiful and huge. Thousands of people now can come to the temple fir worship, they can get Accomodation as well. So if you are Kashi then this should be the must thing to visit this temple. This temple is Devine & source of ultimate energy.

This fort was the home of Kashi naresh the ruler of Kashi. This is a old & beautiful sight. This is situated the other side of ganga. You need to croos the river to reach there. History become alive here. You can understand well how the older generation were living. This fort is guardian of Kashi, s heritage, & culture. When you reach at the top of the fort the view is really awesome. Whole Kashi you can see from here .

This place Sarnath is sacred for Buddhist Pilgrim all around the world. This place is home of beautiful temple & Buddhist stupa.

Lord buddha came here after the enlightenment. & gave his fist sermon ( speech) to his devotees. This is very calm place. Once you are in kashi don't forget to visit this gem.

This is around 12 to 15 kilometer from the Kashi.

If DELHI -- is the political capital of India..

MUMBAI ---- is the economic capital of India

KASHI ---- is the cultural capital of India...
