Kaas - Valley of Flowers

I had been hearing about it, browsing photos over internet and hearing stories about that place. This year we made a conscious plan to visit this place. 

Its 160 kms from Pune via Satara, we started at 5.30Am on our bikes. From satara the road is a single lane but lot of greenery and ghat section. Upon reaching I found it is one of the professionally managed place by Maharashtra govt. 

Although the keepers said that this year flowers didnt bloom like last year, the area is quite big and loads of places to explore.

Best place to locate flower this year is to enter from gate 2 and keep walking then take a right turn to enter the platue and enjoy the beauty of nature. 

Best place for visit to this place is August 2nd week till Oct 1st week. (As told by keepers at Kaas)
