Just 100 km away Lonavla is wonderful rainy day outing from Mumbai, just 3 hrs Of drive from Mumbai and you find yourself in the lap of nature, just greener surroundings occupies all space in your eyes.
My recent trip in the month of August was little different as we stayed here for a night.

Things to keep in mind
1. Leave Mumbai early morning so that you can reach lions point, one of the main attractions here early. This was traffic will be avoided.
2. For different experience one can look for an AirBNB and home stays.
3. Don’t litter around lions point as it becomes really difficult to take even single step without hopping on a piece of plastic.
4. One can avoid bushi dam as approach road is too slippery and it’s always too crowded.
