BALANCING LIFE BETWEEN TRAVEL & WORK

Oh well! What is this balancing life and shit?

Just leave your jobs,
Buy a ticket
Travel

And never return.. That's what all the travel pages and apps would tell you. But today here I'll tell you what travel magazines and companies won't tell you about.

Because if you want to travel you need money, and nothing brings you money than a job!
(Stealing, borrowing, hitch hiking are other options though)

Also, if you live in an indian society, be sure if you can't be an IAS, Doc or Engineer, you atleast can find a job that brings you assurance and RESPECT IN SOCIETY

I'm sure, else people will kill with their kind words.

So first things first, Travel and Work!

1. CALENDAR

Your work desk should always have A

CALENDAR which highlights the holidays. #thingstodo - Mark all the long weekends just like we had one in #April from 2nd to 4th ( Good Friday, Easter and Sunday) and we have an upcoming one from July 10th to 12th (Saturday, Sunday and Rath Yatra).

2. SAVE

The simple it sounds, the difficult it becomes.
If you aren't Mr #Modi nobody is going to sponsor your trip to even Mathura, forget about France or Israel.

#thingstodo

uninstall online shopping apps (you can always
use browser) if needed much and before hitting the BUY button, always ask yourself the right question - "Do I really need it? "

Uninstall food apps - swiggy, ubereats or Zomato. Although they keep texting you about offers and that's the time when you can avail good offers in less prices

But trust me, we do use them unnecessarily and can save more.

3. BOOK TICKETS

In case of flight journeys, make plans in advance. Don't try to be much spontaneous else the flight fares will definitely make a hole in your spontaneity parachute, making you reach only to your couch in the weekend.

#thingstodo

Install flight apps

Keep a track of price Book as soon as you find cheaper flights

4. AVOID EXTRAVAGANZA

When and if experiences matter to you more than luxury then you should read ahead otherwise skip it and move towards the last point. You can try and find option which doesn't make a huge hole in your pocket and assures that when you return from the trip, you have enough money to sustain yourself for the rest of the month.

#thingstodo

Book your stays in Backpacker hostels, this way it's cheap and you get to meet lots of new people.

5. GO OUT,

TRAVEL... Now that you're done with everything required, sit back and count your days left to travel. You're good to go. #BonVoyage
