We started from Kolkata in the evening. My flight for Delhi was at 10.30 pm. After landing around 1 am, we spent the rest of the night at Airport.

Day 2

In the morning at 5.30 am, we boarded the flight from Delhi for chandigarh and landed at 6.30 am to start for Himachal.
Anoop bhai from Solan was ready with his Traveller at the airport. We had our breakfast at Havelli Restaurant enroute Himachal. The road was awesome. We had lunch in a dhaba after entering HP.
In the evening we stopped for Tea at Aut and the view from both the dining spaces were simply beautiful.

At around 8 pm we reached Naggar and stayed at Himalayan Brothers Adventure Homestay, just beside Naggar Castle. Beautiful homely dinner from Aparna didi was just mind blowing.

Day 3

After waking up in the morning and having breakfast, we started for Sissu through Manali and Solang Valley at 10 am. We reached Solang valley at 11 am. As we reached Solang Valley, police stopped us to move further, as heavy snow fall started from Atal tunnel and uphill. Time went on, but police didn't allow us. Finally with the help of Sissu Property owner, 2 local 4x4 wheel driven cars were arranged and we got the permission from the police at 6 pm after waiting for 7 hours in the middle of rain. Our traveller stayed back in Manali.
Once we started uphill, snowfall started. During all my Himalaya visits, I got many snow fall. But this experience of heavy snowfall was just out of the world. The experience of crossing the Atal tunnel was again awesome. With the snow we reached Sissu at 7.30 pm and stayed in Welina Guest House.
Temperature was -8°C.

Day 4

On day 4, the plan was just to relax ourselves for the whole day. After breakfast, we went for a walk in the Sissu village at around 10 am. While walking, snow fall started again. That moment will remain precious. Walking in the snowfall, through the snow cladded trees, was simply the most awesome experience in the whole trip. Due to the snowfall, the sky was cloudy. Although the pictures clicked were great.
We had a great time spent in the evening, with a thought in mind that we have to leave this place the day after.

Day 5

Next day morning when we woke up at 5.30 am, the temperature was -18°C. The lowest I have experienced so far.
And the sky was the maximum blue as it gets.
After the breakfast, we got ready to start downhill and started clicking photos at the beautiful location with beautiful sky. Few glimses are there.
During the journey we stopped at Atal tunnel to click photos, where we couldn't stop during our uphill journey due to heavy snowfall.
Next stop was Clifftop Cottage at Palchan. The cottages are located in between Solang Valley and Manali, with the greatest view of the valley.
We spent the evening there with the great hospitality from Kapil ji and his family.

After the visit we went to the hotel. Mittighar Hostel at Jari. Which I consider one of the best properties in Kasol Area. The property serves only Vegetarian food. It's a mud house and the best one.

From Chandigarh, we boarded the train for Kolkata at midnight.

The best experiences were the snowfall in Sissu and the hospitality from all the owners of mind blowing properties Sissu, Palchan and Kasol (Jari). One visiting these places, must try the local dishes and stay in these properties.
