High on Josh at the highest motorable roads

These pictures were clicked during our trip to Leh Ladakh. These were clicked very close to Khardung La and Chang La (claimed to be the highest and the second highest motorable roads in the WORLD). Even before our trip started, we were warned about how difficult it will be to survive there given the high altitude and were advised to take diamox tablets, carry camphor, an oxygen cylinder and what not! .

Here we met some of our Indian soldiers who smiled back at us, waved and chanted Jai Hind whenever we chanted the same. We realised that each day these young men not only fight with our enemies for our Motherland but also fight each day with the threatening weather conditions. .

When we left the place we felt both proud and emotional. A big Salute to all the men who fight in their own ways to protect our Nation and also help it progress. Every such person is a solider in our eyes
